Yes you read it right, I know it seems like a joke, but guess what it’s a reality. Windows 7 has a GodMode which enables you to have a place where you can get to all the settings without having to browse around and click through options and folders in control panel.
So, How can I enable this whatsoever called GodMode on my Windows 7?
The answer is really simple, just follow the following instruction and you are ready to go:
- Create a new folder in any place you like, i.e. your Desktop.
- Name this new folder as: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
- Now you can see that the folder icon has been changed and you are ready to use the GodMode.
- Click on the icon and see all your windows settings under one place.
This GodMode contain almost 45 settings categories with at least 278 item to play within your system. Please note that although this GodMode works on Vista 32 bit and 32 bit Windows Server 2008 it does not work on Vista 64 bit sp2 and 64 bit Windows Server 2008

You are welcome
Do not do this on 64bit Vista! It will mess up your computer. Seriously, it’s been documented. Otherwise, it’s a neat trick!
As stated on this poist it’s not recommended for 64 bit vista or 64 bit Windows Server 2008
Thanks so much for this way around the stifling MS allowances.
Glad you liked it
Wow this is a GREAT tip! Thanks.
five stars.
you have the approval of the Captain.
Thanks for sharing this useful tweaking tip.
Having to scroll through many many windows to change just a few varied settings just became SO much more convenient.
This’ll save me time fixing all my family’s computers.
This is awesome! Thanks so much!!!
Great shortcut, thank you.
You probably should mention FIRST and put emphasis on YOU SHOULD NOT DO THIS ON 64 BIT SYSTEMS. I tried it from a site that did not mention that and got a day-long headache trying to fix the problem.
